We chose Rouge for Clio's last litter for several reasons; he's got a great pedigree which includes 2 old bloodlines that we really love both in terms of type and health (Nordniedersachen & Seigneurie des Chartron), he's a small (62 cm - 60 kg) but powerfull and correct male who moves like a dream and there are several dogues who became very old in the pedigree as well. Longevity is something we value very highly since many Dogue de Bordeaux's die at an early age. On top of that he's a sweet and gentle boy! Rouge has the same lines as Nikita von Nordniedersachen who is the father of our S-litter and we are very happy with how the S-litter has turned out in general, so we feel that these lines work well together.
